30Boltwood officially has the BEST BARTENDER in all of Western Massachusetts! Our very own Victoria Torti took home the award Monday night for Excellence in Hospitality the Howdy Awards.
The Greater Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau handed out its 19th-annual Howdy Awards for hospitality excellence. The “Howdy” recognizes front-line hospitality employees; the people a tourist, shopper or visitor encounters first at the region’s many destinations and attractions. “Day in, day out, you deal with people; good and bad,” said award winner Victoria. “To get acknowledged for it, and to get accolades for it is very sweet.”
In total this year, there were 400 nominations for Howdy Awards, and 48 finalists. Not only did Victoria get nominated and make it to the finals, but our Sous Chef, Kevin Doubleday also make it to the finals. The bottom line here…. our staff love their jobs! And we have all of you to thank for that.
